∙ S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A. continues the plan to modernize the Someseni Production Base, combining the development an modernization endeavor with the interest and care for the company’s employees. For this purpose, the company continued to extend and modernize the accommodation facility and to endow the cafeteria for employees. Following these actions, our employees residing in other localities enjoy the comfort of new, furnished and modernly equipped rooms.
∙ The modernization, extension and retechnologization process of the Production Base, located in Someseni, on 14, Calea Dezmirului, is continued, by making investments in the half finished product workshop and in the workshops of metallic constructions and reinforcements, and by purchasing the second concrete station, Liebherr type BETOMIX 2.25A-R, with an RLS 606 recycler.
∙ By developing and diversifying the production activity, S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A. reaches the position to be able to execute the contracted works promptly and at a high quality level, considering the fact that a new technology implies products of high safety and quality.
∙ SRAC certifies the quality – environment – occupational safety and health integrated management system, implemented within S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A.. Following these certifications, our company received an increased value, given by the certainty that our activity is developed according to the quality, environment, and occupational health and safety requirements. This is also a certification of the fact that we are concerned both for the clients’ satisfaction, and our own employees, without forgetting our obligations to protect the environment.
∙ We have founded the “ACI School” program, through which, upon the authorization received from the Ministry of Work, Family and Equality of Opportunities, along with the Ministry of Education, Research and Youth, through the National Council for Adult Professional Formation, we have given our employees the chance to receive qualification for the positions of carpenter – joiner – parquet layer and plasterer – stone cutter – brick mason.
∙ The ballast pit held by S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A. in the village Bata of the Petru Rares commune, Bistrita Nasaud County, was retechnologized, extended and modernized. Following the retechnologization, the company can manufacture top quality products, both sold and used for the company’s own production purpose.
∙ A new division of the company was approved and implemented, giving birth, from S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A. , to a new joint stock company.
∙ S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A. begins the process for extending, modernizing and retechlologizing the Someseni Production Base.
∙ A partial dividing of S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A. takes place and the founding of seven new companies.
∙ PhD. Eng. Ioan Aschilean is elected by the General Assembly of Shareholders to occupy the position of president of the company’s Administration Board, a position which he holds to this day.
∙ PhD. Eng. Dorin Aschilean is assigned to lead the company, as General Manager. Mr. Dorin Aschilean holds this position to this day.
∙ The Romanian Society for Quality Insurance certifies the quality management system, with the reference ISO 9002:1995.
∙ The opening of the new S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A. office on 70, Calea Dorobantilor, which is currently the company’s headquarters.
∙ S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A. opens the first branch in Germany, at Dusseldorf.
∙ S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A. becomes the first fully privatized Romanian company, in the field of construction.
∙ The procedures for privatizing the company are began, through the MEBO method.
∙ S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A. is recorded in the trade registry under the number J12/200/1991.
∙ The activity in the field of constructions was reorganized through GD 1340/21.12.1990 on the founding of joint stock companies, and the Holding – Cluj General Industrial Constructions Enterprise was divided in eight companies, among which S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A.
∙ Eng. Valentin Scolobiuc was assigned General Manager of S.C. ACI CLUJ S.A.
∙ We mention the following works performed in this period by the Holding – Cluj General Industrial Constructions Enterprise: The Polytechnic Institute of Cluj – tower building; the IEIA Cluj headquarters – the Enterprise for Automation Equipment and Installations, the ICIPIAF Cluj Headquarters – the Research and Project Institute for Power and Cooling Installations, ICSITE Cluj – The Research and Study Institute for Thermal and Energy Installations, dam on the River Somes, in Floresti, apartment buildings in Bucharest, Portelanul Cluj, The Cellulose and Paper Plant, stage 2, The Cement Plant in Alesd, the foundation of the 2nd reactor of Cernavoda.
∙ The Ministry of Constructions and Industries was reorganized, ant the construction site groups are transformed in enterprises, while the construction sites and lots become construction and installation brigades.
∙ The Holding – Cluj General Industrial Constructions Enterprise merges, through the Decree 92/1984, with the Cluj Chemical Construction Holding, and partially with the Brasov Installation Assembly Holding.
∙ Eng. Valentin Scolobiuc has occupied the position of General Manager of the Construction Works Group in Cluj.
∙ We mention the following works performed by the Holding – Cluj General Industrial Constructions Enterprise in this period: Unirea, Clujana, Metalu rosu, Terapia, Armatura, The heavy equipment plant, poultry farms in Floresti, Gilau, Popesti etc.
∙ Eng. Petru Ghiurt was assigned General Manager of ICM Cluj – Cluj construction site and was then replaced by eng. Vasile Podoaba.
∙ The construction assembly activity was reorganized at a national level and the Ministry of Industrial Constructions (MCI) was founded, replacing the MCMC.
∙ ICM Cluj merged with the Cluj Enterprise no. 9, and the Cluj Industrial Construction Holding was founded.
∙ The holdings were organized in construction site groups.
∙ The Cluj Construction Enterprise no. 9 was founded, leaded by the MCMC.
∙ The Cluj Construction Enterprise no. 901 was taken over by the Construction Assembly Department of the Ministry of Chemical Industry and received the name of the Construction Assembly Enterprise (ICM Cluj).
∙ Through DMC no. 2111/1957, several construction holdings were dissolved, among which the Cluj Construction Enterprise no. 9, and its subunits and personnel were taken over by the Brasov Regional Construction Holding.
∙ The regional construction unit was reorganized, and the Regional Local Construction Holding was established.
∙ The new Constitution was adopted by the Great National Assembly, providing, among the ministries of the Romanian Popular Republic, the Ministry of Constructions and Construction Material Industry (MCMC).
∙ Ten holdings were created within MCMC, among which the Cluj Construction Holding no. 9.
∙ The Cluj 901 Construction Enterprise was managed by Mr. Sladescu Gheorghe.
∙ The Local Construction Enterprise of Cluj City was established, upon the decision of the temporary committee of the Cluj urban commune, having as object of activity the execution of all the construction and installation works of local interest.
